Last night was a remarkably rough night leaving the majority of us tired and cranky this morning. To negate this we decided to try something new! I had read about an event taking place at the Tomball Depot Park with blow up water slides, a splash pad, crafts for the kids, snow cones, and a kid-friendly/worship DJ. Sounded like something fun to try so we went!
Clara loved it all - even the mud between her toes! ;) She went down all of the slides multiple times and enjoyed an orange snow cone. Unfortunately she didn't get to do the crafts because Emma was NOT having any fun, poor thing. She did splash around at the bottom of one of the slides for a little while, but she mostly just cried.
In an unusual state of affairs, Emma just watched.
Mostly.
We eventually decided to pry Clara away because Emma was such a mess. See Exhibit A:
And we took them to swim with Lulu & Papa, which made Emma feel (somewhat) better!
Sometimes being 2 is just hard! But I'm glad we gave the event a try!
