Emma's Baptism!

Sunday was our last day with Uncle G, Auntie M and Molly :( It was also time for Meemaw and Papaw to come home - but how wonderful to have so much family all together over the weekend!!

Sunday morning was Emma's baptism! Grady and Marissa are Emma's Godparents as well so we wanted to make sure this special event could happen when they could be in town.

Ready to go!
Emma actually cried all the way to church, when she rarely fusses. Then Clara swallowed an entire bottle of gas drops on the way to church, which we're not sure how it happened. We had to call poison control during the ceremony to figure out what to do. Aye yi yi.

Still, everyone survived and Emma was able to be (calmly) baptized!

Godparents Grady & Marissa, and Bryan, Clara & I were up there with Emma.

Molly wondered why she wasn't and tried to join us. Thankfully Lulu was able to catch up with her and get her safely back to the pew :)

 After the service:

Time for lunch at our house!

I'm glad I got one with my girl :)

So cute, Aunt Tricia!

Entertaining is hard work, huh, Clara?

But it comes with cookies so it's all good.

I LOVE how much she loves her sister.
Our evening headed south pretty fast though.
Ring pop, diaper, church shoes of course.
 Some battles aren't worth fighting.

Bye Clara? What a nut. A funny nut.
Phew. What a weekend! LOVED seeing you guys!!
Looking forward to their next visit already!

Professional Photos: Cousins

Please note that our expectations really weren't very high. We had a 22 month old, an 8 month old, and a 3 week old. Thankfully only one can walk, but Molly is getting more mobile as we speak and Emma was just wanting to be held - preferably not by her slightly spastic big sister.

Their denim looks were super cute!!

Smiling Clara, blank look Molly & snoozing Emma

The flashes bothered poor Emma
not her best look, but I still think she's cute :)
Time for a wardrobe change!

sad face :(
Waiting for Clara to get it together and wondering what's going on
so cute!
Then all of a sudden Clara decided a stool would help her smile!
I think several of these turned out really nice!

Tickle both of my feet please!!

This is typical Clara right here!
Real life!! Ha!
Poor Emma - are we done yet?

Yes baby girl :)

Pictures & Play!!

So I have a thing for pictures (surprising, isn't it? :) so I decided that when Grady, Marissa & Molly came to town we needed to do a cousin's photo shoot. Many thanks to Groupon it was pretty reasonable - and thanks to Lulu it was even MORE reasonable for us :) Thank you Lulu! I am going to do a separate post for the pictures from the shoot.

The girls had adorable matching denim jumpers and pretty coordinating spring dresses.
Gearing up - or down? to take pictures!
Lounging around in Emma's carseat
lots of hands to help!
After the session in which Emma was grumpy, Molly was confused, and Clara was uncooperative and smiley at the same time, we had a picnic of Chifila while we waited to see and pick images thanks to Lulu!

So cute!!

Meemaw with Emma-girl!
Then the very tired young ladies needed naps. It's exhausting being beautiful.

Once we got to Lulu's house it was time to have fun with BreAnna, Ruth, Jan and Larry too!

Oh, you know, a bathtub on my head
