Good Friday with Neighbors

Our Easter weekend continued with an invitation from our neighbors to have a Good Friday potluck and Easter Egg Hunt with our street/cul de sac. Despite being raised to believe that one is supposed to fast on Good Friday (making a pot luck to celebrate rather ironic), we went anyway to get to know some of our neighbors better and I'm glad we did!

When we explained to Clara it was time to go "eat" and "play" with "friends" she was quick to try to help get Emma ready so we could go "ousside" :)

Carrying her own chair down the driveway like the big girl that she is.

Doesn't she look thrilled waiting for the Egg Hunt to start? ha!

All of the kids participating! (our street apparently reproduces quite well) Look for Clara at the bottom left of the kids.

One yard was dedicated to 4yr olds and under while the rest of the cul de sac was for everyone older. It worked out rather well!

It's hard to be truly competitive when you're mostly just interested with what's inside :)
:)
 This makes me giggle:

This is how Emma Lou rolls during Easter Egg Hunts. I can't really blame her. It DOES look exhausting!!
