After Daddy took care of getting it ready, all 3 of us jumped in, the puppies watched from the shade, & Clara did lots of throwing the ball in the basket, sliding and playing with the waterfall. So much fun!

But so exhausting too :)

Just a normal day in the life of Clara.

Father's Day: Meloy Family

 After a yummy lunch with MeMaw & Paw, we went home and Clara took a siesta. Then it was time to take the puppies and baby and drive to my parents house.

We made sure we were all summered up for the boat ride!

When we got there Clara had some fun playing with Lulu and Papa's toys - even the ones you aren't supposed to play on TOP of :)

And goofed off with Uncle G.

Father's Day: Evans' Family

Back up to last weekend really quick, and it was Father's Day! Right after Clara's birthday party. By Sunday night I was pooped.

Confession: We missed church Father's Day morning :( We were so tired after Clara's party and the Astros game that night that we didn't get to bed until wayyy too late and just couldn't get up in time to get the 3 of us ready and to church by 9:30. Clara was still sleeping at 9:15 and we couldn't bring ourselves to get up on the rare occasion of her sleeping in! We felt guilty, but I think God understands. We had a little family "service" once Clara was up.

Then we drove over to MeMaw and Paw Evans' house for lunch. They ordered Los Generales to go, fajitas, yummmm.

They sure love this little girl and she LOVES to play with them!

Paw is so much fun!!

They always bring out the toy basket. So many fun things to dig out!

 

Sometimes you just have to rock with your great-grandpa. It's just too good to pass up on!
