Devon's Dragon Birthday

To keep the busiest Saturday in recent memory going, we attended Devon's 1st birthday party next! It was so fun!

Most of our playgroup was there, and the kids had such a good time playing together.

Natalie and Mark have a really cool courtyard in the middle of their house:

Dragons! They also passed out glowing wands and swords to all of the kids to play with. They were a huge hit.

Devon's about to eat his cupcake. All the playgroup peeps:

Hmmmm.

I'm not entirely sure about this, Mom.

This was so funny! Clara was riding around on the fire engine for most of the time we were there. Landon decided to give her a push :)

(it's kind of a long one)

Everyone else eating some cupcakes. Clara decided to beg for a few bites from Ms. Lauren :)

Her PopEye expression cracks me up!

Devon had a hard time concentrating on opening his gifts. There were lots of babies equally happy to help him open them - Clara was, for sure.

We gave him a pull along basket with summer goodies - a beach towel, swim diapers, a bucket and shovel, and some water stacking cups. Hopefully they come in handy this summer!

Clara once again trying to help open his gifts. LOL. I'm sure she'll get lots of help at her party too.

Daddy got a little concerned about all of Clara's helping with the gift opening, so he passed her to me to keep her out of trouble.

Sugars for Momma :) --- makes my heart melt.

More gifts

This is seriously what Clara did for over an hour while we were there. Walked the fire engine down the hallway one way, and back again. Over and over and over. Whatever keeps her occupied, right?

Alexa and Clara playing a game called "who can escape before the adults notice?"

Then Devon received his last gift: a homemade water table made by his dad! This was a big hit with him and the other babies.

I figured a little water wouldn't hurt her :) may as well let her play. It was hot outside anyway.

Such concentration.

Eventually her clothes were so wet, I decided to take them off and she just played in her diaper alongside Devon and Alexa.

Mark ended up having to add some more water because the babies did so much splashing. So fun!

This sweetie pie was beyond pooped out, but she did a great job all day!
