This is an extra long one so brace yourself! Wednesday was Christmas Eve. After an extremely rough night from Emma, but rather good nights from Clara and Molly, it was time to get up and get ready to head over the M&M Ranch to see Meemaw and Papaw and the rest of the Meloy crew!
We decided that rather than try to take the time to bathe each child in the sink that morning that we would just leave them in their pajamas and bathe them at Meemaw and Papaw's house in their big tub.

Phew. All clean! Then the girls put on the adorable coordinating dresses Lulu found them.

We tried so hard to get all 3 in a picture together. Molly wasn't feeling super cooperative, and Clara was hit or miss the entire time. Emma was actually very cooperative, so she was easy, but then she was also stuck where we put her :)

We attempted naps for all three. It clearly wasn't going to happen. I finally got Clara up in hopes that the other two would still sleep, but no luck. Got Emma up too. Thankfully Molly stayed asleep which is why she's not in any of these group gift-exchange pictures.
Clara received a book of realistic looking animals and a deer that makes a noise. That deer has been inducted into the "favorites" grouping which includes Babydoll (of course), Moose, Minnie Mouse, and now "Reindeer" as this fawn as been dubbed.

Aunt Tricia and Uncle Dwayne gave all of the girls these little "going to Grandma's house" suitcases. [Now when something goes missing such as my keys or the salt shaker, I've learned to check inside these. When the girls do go visit their Lulu with their suitcases they have interesting things packed instead of clothes!]

Who knows what Clara is trying to communicate here, but note that Babydoll and Reindeer are already packed away in her suitcase. Also she kept Meemaw's snowglobe either in her hand or pocket almost the entire time we were there too.
And then Clara opened up an especially fun gift from Meemaw and Papaw - a fireman outfit! A really awesome one too!
She was so excited! She loves to be a fireman and rescue her Babydoll and Moose from the dangerous situations she puts them in.

Oh boy! Molly woke up! She got to play catch up and open all of her gifts at once.

Eventually she left Molly to it so she could finish opening her gifts and found Daddy with the popcorn.

My kids were worn out so we decided to head outside to take some pictures before Bryan and I packed up the munchkins to drive back to The Woodlands.

Our kids were both passed out before we hit the main road. And NEITHER kid cried all the way home. Amazing.
