Christmas morning dawned nice and .... dark? rainy? windy? Hmmm.
Oh yeah, and no electricity. Interesting.
Refusing to be daunted by the lack of electricity, the celebration commenced at MeMaw & Paw Evans' house!
We arrived late morning to help finish the preparations and to visit.
Little Ronnie was kind enough to show Clara his new toys. She was very intrigued.
Cooking over a camp pit, since the stove & oven don't work.
Prepping a very yummy lunch.
Over lunch Clara took a wee siesta in Paw's room :)
But she joined us for dessert. This is how Daddy tried to fix her bow:

(No worries, she's back on a strict apples, bananas, pears, avacado, sweet potato, green beans, and cheerios diet.)

After MeMaw & Paw's Clara was pooped out. She decided to try on the hat LouLou gave her and relax on the floor. This was a relief to Bryan & I because the electricity was once again, out. Sheesh. Makes for some pretty funny Christmas memories though!
Once the light outside was gone, it was pretty dark inside. I think Bryan's now relieved I love candles so much :)
We decided to play board games by candle light for a little while after Clara went to bed.
Our puppies the following morning. I think Christmas wore them out too!
The next morning Clara loved playing with her new toys!
(This has become an all time favorite)
