Mall Outing

If you have to shop, you may as well do it with good friends, right?!

Despite a vicious attack of allergies, we decided to get out of the house and meet our friends Beth, Chris, and Emily for a busy afternoon.

First we got some lunch at the food court. I've learned over the past 9 months that Clara is ALWAYS hungry. I guess that happens when you have to grow that fast but can't stop moving and burning energy :) I'm really loving our new stroller and it's fantastic tray for this particular purpose.

Plus it's a good vantage point to say hello to your friend after eating, too.

Then we helped Beth find an outfit for their family pictures coming up. The menfolk tried to keep the babies happy :) Good thing they are such sweet daddies.

After all of the shopping (its hard to find the perfect outfit for family pictures!) we were all ready for dinner. Cheesecake Factory was just the thing and it was delicious.

My response to today's huge debate about equality in marriage:

I believe we all have 3 choices when it comes to gay marriage. 1. Love. You openly support their right to love. 2. Judgement. You love them as people but still judge them as sinners. 3. Hate. You hate them for loving, feel threatened by them and judge them. The Bible taught me "The greatest is love" so I choose love.  

Playgroup Monday

All the little babies- or at least 4 little babies -got to play together again today. Clara and I love Playgroup Mondays. All you Houston mommies, it's from 1-3 on Mondays at our house, feel free to join us! It's a little chaotic, but fun! 

Clara made sure the playroom was tidy and ready to go before her friends arrived.

Once they got here, we had a yummy snack of cheese, ham & crackers which was a huge hit with the mommy crowd AND the tots. 

Refueled, they were ready to play!

Pearly Whites

Miss Sunshine's sweet gummy smile is about to look a little different because ....

She has 2 teeth! One broke through two nights ago, and the other just started breaking through today.

I know it's kind of hard to see her teeth in the picture, but they're there!

The other photos are just because she's adorable, precious, and I love her :)

My 26th Birthday

I've been convinced that I have the best possible birthday since I was little. It's on a holiday that's known about, it involves lots of green, it's always during spring break ... it's pretty much perfect in every way.

So thanks for giving birth to me on a great day, Mom!! :)

My birthday rolled around again this year, and we decided to celebrate my parent's house with my parents, and Grady and Marissa. They had some news to share with us.

My parents made us a scrumptious lunch of quail, asparagus, rice and salad.

Yummmmmmy.

 

Marissa and Grady were going to reveal the sex of their baby through cupcakes. Since we were celebrating my birthday she made my favorite kind: lemon. Soooo good.
