Schlitterbahn Part 1: Thursday

We all know our trips result in gazillions of photos, so just hang out while I write several posts worth of fun videos and pictures :)

We had a great time! For the entire trip Grady, Marissa, Molly, Lulu, Papa, Bryan, Clara, Emma, myself, Michelle, Logan, Zachariah and Jonah went. Uncle Dewayne, Aunt Tricia, Kevin and Kyle joined us for a couple of days, and then Aunt Jana, Uncle Keith, Reed, Paige, Regan and Garrett, Meemaw and Papaw joined us!

That's a lot of folks ready to have fun!

We went to Schlitterbahn (http://www.schlitterbahn.com/new-braunfels) which basically a giant water park (or, more accurately, three water parks in one). I anticipated this year would be spent primarily in the little kid splash areas because we had a 3 year old, 2 year old, 11 month old, and two 3 month olds in tow. They aren't exactly ready for the high thrill water fall drop rides :)

On Thursday we all arrived around 3pm, unloaded the cars and changed clothes.

Cracks me up

The kids were more than ready to go to "Pool!" as Riah would say or "Bubbles!" as Clara would say :)
Molly, Emma and Jonah were just along for the ride :)

It was time to hit the park for a couple of hours, starting it off nice and easy at Polliwog and Tadpole. I think it was probably wise to start off at this particular speed...

Clara's initial reaction to the water:

Both Clara & Riah were big fans of the slides.

Molly was not and Aunt Katy made a huge fail trying to introduce her to them :( Sorry Molly!

Emma took the majority of her naps in this position during the trip:
Lulu has the magic touch!
We took a quick break from Polliwog to check out the new "dog park" splash ground too:

 That water was COLD!

Back to Polliwog to see how Miss Molly was doing:

Daddy and this cool kid:

"Cheese in bubbles?" (take my picture in the water?) hehe

Clara was a little resistant to leaving so Lulu had to tickle her into submission :)

Then somehow Logan managed to convince both kids that dinner would be a good thing.

On their way back to "eat eat eat!"
When we got back we found that Papa had fired up the grill. We changed the kids and got out everything we needed for making dinner (including some pretzels to keep a toddler content until dinner was ready :).

Clara's expression here cracks me up!

Once the little ones went to bed (minus Emma who wasn't super happy - thank you Lulu for calming her down enough to sleep!) we played Wits & Wagers and Bezzerwizzer.

Logan & Michelle are pros:
Note Lulu in the back pacing with Emma
Grady & Marissa's expressions here make me laugh :)

After some games and a raccoon sighting (say what!?) it was time for bed.
