After lunches and naps, we decided to go check out Surfenburg! This is what I was the most excited about, because I was really hoping Clara would love the kid's park in that area. Thankfully, she did!
Sadly, we got off to a rocky start when Clara rubbed sunscreen in her eyes :(
We stopped by a first aid station and used the eye wash station. I'm sure you can imagine how that went - yikes - BUT we got the sunscreen out and got her warmed up on the duck and soon everything was okay again :)
This clam slide was really what transformed Clara from enjoying the splashes to full blown zero-fear in the water, and ready to go go go go go!
We were also able to get a couple of videos, thankfully!

After 40-50 times on the slide (where does she get all of that energy!?) she decided she was ready to move up to the big octopus ride. She was done with fear and just wanted to have fun! "Go away, Mommy" ended up being a frequently said phrase as she wanted to splash into the water without anyone to help her up, silly independent girl child!
