Aquarium!

Today Mom, Clara and I joined BreAnna and Ruth at the downtown Aquarium. It was a fun play date! Clara had not been before, but she gets excited every time she sees a fish tank somewhere, she likes water, and she likes friends so I assumed this would be a successful outing :)

To minimize the amount of space but maximize pictures I made  several collages - enjoy!!

First up we walked through the aquarium. The girls enjoyed seeing the brightly lit tanks with fish swimming around.

More fish!

Then we saw the white tiger exhibit - whoa!!
This was probably the highlight for Clara - she was squealing and dancing, smiling and telling the tiger "hi" over and over and over :)

Mom tried on a hat at the gift shop -
the newest Fish Pope?

Then it was time for lunch at the Aquarium Restaurant since we worked up an appetite looking at all of the fish.
Ruth was such a good restaurant-goer! She sat quietly and munched on her food. Clara walked back and forth on the booth so she could take turns sitting next to Lulu, Mommy & Ruth. Thank goodness she was ready to sit in one spot once her food came!

After some delicious food, we went to go ride the Shark Attack Train.

On the train!

Then we went to go pet the stingrays.
Confession: Clara was only one brave enough to actually pet the stingray. I really didn't even want her to!! But she was fascinated.

While this isn't a great picture, I had to include my small shoplifter. There was a game booth set up with rubber ducks. Clara walked over to the booth, rummaged through their prize box and took off with 2 stuffed crayons. After leading her back to replace them, the guy running the booth was so sweet and let her keep one of them (the yellow one). Crazy kid.

Then we took our kiddos back outside to splash in the fountains.

Clara fell down twice on the slippery ground (mostly because she was getting so sleepy), so we dried the munchkins off and headed home.

Phew! Busy but so much fun!
