Summary:
Technically these pictures are in reverse order, we went to Target first and then played at CFA, but blogger is being a bit of a bum to me right now.
This has been an interesting week for me, and so when Lauren called me after Landon woke up from his nap (perfectly coinciding with when Clara woke up from hers), I was happy to join them at Target. (Especially since I've needed to get the next size up in shoes for Clara but have dreaded taking her to try some on.)
After Target, our kiddos seemed ready to play. So we decided to go across the street to Chifila to let the kids play on the indoor (air conditioned!) playground. Thankfully no one seemed to mind that we didn't buy any food or drinks.
Clara immediately took off up the slide.
She was having a ball.
Landon quickly warmed up to the idea and headed in after Clara. She shouldn't get to have all the fun!
Now pretend this was 45 minutes before ... :)
We were lucky enough to snag one of these nifty carts at Target for both kiddos!

They shared a soft pretzel while Lauren picked up a few things Landon needed and I got Clara some shoes.
Aw, my friend got dropped off. Good thing we'll see him in a minute at the playground!!
It was a fun, quick outting. We love our mommy/baby friends!
