Midland Family Fun

The next morning Molly and Clara got to visit and catch up and we had some breakfast.

Then it was time for an early nap for both Clara and Molly because Molly is still really little and Clara was still exhausted from her short night's sleep.

Once they were up they got dressed in adorable matching outfits from Lulu!

And then it was time for some lunch! We went to The Smiling Moose Cafe. It was delicious! And Clara loved having Uncle Grady play with her :)

 Mom, we need to have Doritos more often! These are delicious!

And grilled cheese is hilarious.

So are table games with Uncle G :)

Clara refused to get full on grilled cheese, so we swung by a CFA and she had an additional 6 grilled nuggets and apple sauce. Growth spurt?

But THEN we were able to be on our way to the Midland Wildlife Preserve. I'm really glad Grady and Marissa warned us about our expectations because it's definitely not what you would expect to see in Houston, but it was a really pretty walk and the girls had fun (until they ran out of energy)

Phew, this is tiring

Probably the only swamp in all of the Midland area :)
If you squint your eyes and zoom in closely you may be able to see Uncle G jogging to get Marissa and Molly!

It's so important to carefully buckle your blankie into the stroller.
