Midland Trip: Friday

On our last day there, the girls woke up wanting to go back to the park. Alas, we brought the yucky Houston monsoon season with us to Midland, so no park date for us. Instead the girls had fun playing around their house and doing lots and lots of reading!

So cool! And yummmmy blueberry waffles
This look and find book was a huge hit
Taking turns pretending to give each other medicine
Poor Emma had a rough coupe of days, hitting her head several times. Poor thing is covered in bruises and bumps. When she woke up from her morning nap we decided to take the girls to CFA in hopes that they would expend some energy that they weren't able to release upon the great outdoors.

Clara sang pretty much every time we were in the car. This is probably one of the more odd versions of Old MacDonald had a farm though. I blame exhaustion.

On Fridays Grady works half days, so Clara was delighted to have Uncle G join their book club until it was time to catch a plane home.

Auntie M is so much fun!

Sweet hug bye bye
Clara was really really sad that Molly didn't get out of the car to get on the airplane with her. It took some coaxing to convince her it would be okay and that she would see Molly AND a new baby soon.

This was hilarious:
What in the world?

Oh my! heheheh

We were on different aisles this time. Emma had to ride in my lap on a certain aisle because of oxygen masks, and Lulu and Clara had seats right in front of us. At one point in the flight, though, Emma was so mad that she could hear Lulu and Clara but couldn't see them, so I passed her up briefly for a pep cuddle and play.

The girls were MORE than ready to get off the plane and head home.

I wondered why the backseat was so quiet at first, and found that Clara found a new use for Boudreaux's Butt Paste, hahahha

So tired, sweet girl.
Pictures like this remind me that she's still so little
Had a wonderful time! Thanks for hosting us Marissa, Grady and Molly! And thanks for going with us Lulu! love to all!
