Midland Visit: Thursday
The girls woke up ready to play the next morning! (Is anybody surprised?)
Lulu had some fun surprises for the girls: rabbit ear headbands and masks for pretending. They were a huge hit with Clara, a moderate hit with Emma, and Molly wasn't completely sure about them just yet.

Which should I be?

Lulu said Emma was grinning so big behind the mask. I love the two little girls on the bottom left corner too :)

Then Auntie M had a early birthday present for Emma!

After Emma opened her gift, Marissa and I took the girls for a walk. Clara made sure we were very aware that she resented being buckled in, and we had to retrace our steps in the rain to find babydoll's pacifier. It was certainly an interesting walk! And by the time we got back, and fed the girls lunch, it was time for them to nap.
Once they woke up, we got the girls dressed so that we could go to the Children's Museum!
Just because I love this face
Playing with the ears while the big girls got shoes on
We met a friend at the museum with her kiddos. Her daughter, Lucy, is only a month or so older than Clara!
Love this so much (thanks for keeping Emma safe, Lulu!)
It was an interesting Children's Museum. The Woodlands' one that we go to regularly is so different from the downtown Houston one and this was different as well. Kinda cool to see all the different places.
Cracking herself up by rolling around in the bean bag
They had a cool exhibit where these blocks on the wall would make music like an organ (except with different sorts of sounds) whenever you laid your palm on the pieces.

Some corn in a basket
There was a little tunnel that Clara and Emma had a lot of fun crawling back and forth in.
Emma went so far and fell out the other side. Thankfully Lulu went to the rescue and then held her up so she could see everyone at the vet's office!

They had a really cool toddler's room. All three kiddos had a lot of fun playing there too.
Once they were just about done, we decided to check out the statues outside before headed back home.
Clara is still talking about this turtle.
It's a cow! Oh. It's a bull.
Just a little casual rock climbing.
Molly spent most of the trip imitating Clara, and Clara wanted to teach her EVERYTHING.
They are going to make so much mischief together! love it!
Emma wants to do what the bigger girls can do, as long as there are snacks.
Going to have to frame this one :)
love this trio!

Won't be the only girls for long!

Once we returned, Lulu and Marissa started dinner while I played with the rugrats.
