On Saturday morning Ms. Michelle and Zachariah came over to have a little mini-playdate. The kids pushed the grocery cart around, colored, read books and jumped on the trampoline. I think it helped tire them both out, which is a very good thing.
Bryan and I were a little concerned how it was going to go at first because Clara was incredibly distraught about needing to leave her toothbrush in the bathroom before playing, a tantrum which lasted over 20 minutes ...
Thank goodness she's equally adorable when upset, huh?
Poor baby. I really do feel sad for her when it's hard to understand why Mommy and Daddy want her to do something.
But then Riah came over! And things got better :) Phew.
They rode on the rocking horse & cow for a while:

As you can tell, Clara's not shy about asking ANYONE to read to her! When I looked over she was standing on Michelle's feet trying to peer over Zachariah's shoulder, haha
Zachariah really enjoyed the tin full of crayons, dumping them out and putting them back in - and occasionally using them to color. Goose, as usual, is herself here and looking for attention.

At first Zachariah was more interested in climbing in and out of the trampoline rather than jumping, but then he and Clara really got into it.
