Saturday: Museum & Alexa's Party

Saturday was busy, busy! (Does it seem like I say that every weekend? It seems that way to me!)

Since the weather forecast predicted 4-5 days of rainy conditions (yikes!) we decided to try to start the day off at the park to beat the rain. We were unsuccessful. As soon as we pulled in, unloaded Clara and she ran to the slide, the Heavens opened up.

We had to put a rather forlorn child back into the car :( A little rain/sprinkles we would have stayed. But pouring rain plus lightening, not so much.

I don't wanna go bye bye

Not wanting to return home without doing something fun after telling Clara we were going to go "play" somewhere, we decided to have Bryan drop Clara and I off at the Children's Museum while he went to get his hair cut.

We played with glow sticks and the water. (If you want to hear a ridiculous story about a man and his son and a fishing pole, please let me know and I'll gladly recount the craziness of people).

 

 Putting balls in all the holes. And then throwing them at the scary man who said "hi" to her.

 Clara went shopping for some fresh produce. It cracked me up how picky she was being with apples because I'm completely guilty of the same :) They really do watch!!

 Following the Children's Museum and a non-nap (boooo) it was time for Alexa's 2nd Birthday Party at Chicfila!

Clara got her cute party dress and bow on, and tried to accessorize even more :)
