Incredible Pizza Playdate

Clara and I are two very blessed ladies - with a fabulous Lulu who rescues us when Daddy is away, and with wonderful friends. Two of those sweet friends, Ms. Michelle and Zachariah, met the three of us for play time and dinner at The Incredible Pizza today. 

First we delayed playtime until we were all able to eat *something* much to the chagrin of the small fry.

She thinks so :)

 Finally we were off to play. Zachariah must've known exactly where the kiddie play area was because he headed straight there while Clara ran around like the silly girl she is peeking at everything colorful and moving (which is pretty much everything).

I finally convinced her to head to the kiddie area:

She climbed around for a while.

And then had a BLAST on the carousel. (Side note: why can I not ever spell carousel correctly the first time?)

And so did Zachariah!

You can see Zachariah grinning and hear Clara's screechy giggles as the sea horse goes up and down.

Then they tried out the spinning cups.

It started out fun...

 But needed a little more BOUNCE action to keep it exciting!

One of her favorite songs is about trains. The conductor calls "all aboard" and then goes "woo woo" and at the very end of the song a little kid goes "have a nice day!" .... well after the ride Clara said all of the above several times before getting distracted by sliding with Zachariah :)

It's a distant shot (because I was busy scolding some big kids for being rough and rowdy in a spot for tots - they almost knocked Clara over! - don't mess with this mama bear), but this is Zachariah riding the train too:

 She likes turning steering wheels. And always says, "bye bye, see you later" and it cracks me up.

 Phew that was exhausting. Hugs and bye-byes for our friends, and it was time to head home.

It was fun! We will definitely return - especially when it's not Spring Break :)
