Cunningham Family's 125th Reunion (Friday)

This past weekend we drove to Comanche, TX on Friday to join the 300+ other descendants of Captain James and Susannah Cunningham, my great-great-great-great (?) grandparents on my mom's side.

As Bryan and I were packing and loading up, Clara decided to experiment with eye shadow ... around her mouth.

We cleaned her up and hit the road. The first hour and the last hour were rough, but the middle 3 hours were fine. We ended up giving Clara a yellow mute button lollipop during the last 30 minutes of the ride to get her to stop yelling and upsetting her little sister.

We were all so excited to see Lulu, Papa, Uncle G, Auntie M and Molly waiting for us as we drove up!
Clara, "Moyee, get up! Get up, Moyee"
Before long lots of family starting showing up!! It was so awesome to visit with family members we don't get to see nearly often enough.

Clara immediately attached herself to Auntie M and Erin. Cracks me up.

The dinner of tacos and tamales was YUMMY!
Clara, however, was not thrilled. She was too sleepy.

Clara was so pooped out, but she sure loved her new pajamas.

We decided to put the girls down and wait in the lobby with the monitor until they were really asleep before going back in. Grady and Marissa did the same thing with Molly and that worked out really well. While we didn't get a TON of extra sleep that night, it wasn't too bad either.
