This weekend we also had a birthday party to go to for Clara's friend Landon. Tyler opted to stay home and watch baseball while we went - can't imagine why :)

When Landon opened his gifts, I think Clara was a little bummed she didn't have anything to open and play with. Look at this concerned face:
But once Landon got distracted with another gift, Clara was all over his new car.
Lauren had made several games for the kiddos to play, like duck toss:

For any you who know Clara, she is OBSESSED with the color yellow. She also happens to like cupcakes. Both of these things were out of her reach in this photo.

Don't worry, Clara did receive her cupcake. She took it and ran, preferring icing over singing happy birthday to her buddy.
But soon Landon joined Clara and Alexa. The funny thing is, Clara just wanted to lick the cupcake for a little while and then she was all done.

Then it was time for the pinata! Clara was ALL over this. Landon and Alexa were far more interested in Landon's new toys. I think Clara was thinking, "something I can hit ON PURPOSE!? You got it!"
Of course, the Squirt hasn't quite figured out how to put some oomph in her swing yet, but I'll get a t-ball set and we'll work on it :)
