Raegan's 2nd Birthday Party

My posts are a little out of order, but on Saturday evening Clara went to Miss Raegan's 2nd birthday party at The Little Gym! It was a little late for this toot (6:00-7:30) but she ended up having fun anyway.

It took her a while to warm up, but once she did she loved playing on all of the equipment.

Clara with the birthday girl!
They had unstructured playtime and then structured activities - which Clara wasn't as big a fan of, unsurprisingly :)

Her favorite activity was the balance beam!

And then she finally warmed up enough to the Little Gym teachers to sit with everyone on the deflated bouncy thing (progress!!) when suddenly they started blowing it up with the kids ON it. Some of them thought it was awesome - Clara though it was TERRIBLE. She probably would have loved it if she wasn't so tired, but that was the end of Clara's fun in during the gym time. She refused to try anything else.

Thankfully that was one of the very last things they did, so she didn't miss much. After that it was time for Chickfila nuggets, fruit and pretzels, which Clara was a fan of.

She decided to forgo cake in favor of "bye bye" :) soooo sleepy. Courtney made colored popcorn as favors, and Clara munched on it on the way home while watching "Fishy" (The Little Mermaid).

She didn't make a peep when we put her down for bed!! Playing is hard work!!

PS. Emma was there too, but she slept in her carseat the entire time :)

I'm adding the videos all at the end because there are so many. But most of them are pretty short and cute!!!

Clara does not wish to run:

Funny and (mostly) unrelated story:

On Friday I picked Clara up from school but couldn't get the entertainment thingy to work in my car no matter what I tried. I finally told Clara we would have to wait to use it until Daddy could fix it.
Clara sighed deeply and looked out the window of the car.
After a moment she turned back to me and said, "Paci go bye-bye. And Fishy go bye-bye."

(Fishy = The Little Mermaid)
She really knows how to guilt trip a mom!!! Sheesh. She's doing remarkably well without her paci, but she still likes to talk about it sometimes.
