Friday night I got very little sleep (too much going on in my head!), so Bryan ended up letting me sleep in and we got a later start to our trip than planned. BUT we did get moving before lunch :) Turns out that packing/loading for a trip with a toddler is much more challenging because of all the "help" they offer.
Anyway, off we go! Clara took a (sadly short) nap on the way, while Bryan and I pretended her fussing didn't bother us :)
But we did arrive!
(I'm not sure how many times I sang "to market to market to buy a fat pig!" first though)
Lulu had the wagon out ready to ride on.
But we switched to taking turns riding and driving the "big kid" 4-wheeler for a little while.
I guess the excitement of the 4-wheeler made a wagon ride a little tame, so Clara decided to be in charge rather than ride shotgun.
Unloading inside while Clara pet the "Meow" - bahaha, this cracked us up
Papa tickled Clara's tummy
And then back outside
Lulu found this fun ride on bulldozer that makes lots of sound effects and you can lift the front part up and down. Clara's legs a wee bit short for self-propelling easily, but she did manage it somehow!
A ranch girl on a mission.
Ready for more rides!
So I took Clara, Mom, Uncle Barry and Cody for a ride in the "limo." The dogs decided to come along too. While Clara was "driving" we were moving slow enough that the pups decided to jump out and take a swim. Muuuuddddyyyy.

Uncle Barry did a great job winning Clara over with some playtime.
Then Uncle Grady, Aunt Marissa and Molly arrived with Murphy. Molly comes with some fun equipment like a snap'n'go stroller. I think the theme for today should be "rides."
All 3 puppies ready to play
Clara is soooo sleepy, and Molly is getting that way
Before we put Clara down for the night she did some visiting with Molly.
Gave her lots of hugs
And kisses (some sloppier than others)
And more hugs!! "gentle, Clara, gentle!"
