Time for another big day: Christmas Eve! This time with a HUGE amount of family!
I'm probably going to divide Christmas Eve posts up in three parts - (1) lunch and gifts, (2) the battle, and (3) family photos. Blogger just gets so angry at me if I get too ambitious in one post! :)
After a good nap, we arrived at Meemaw and Papaw's place, just in time for a delicious Tex-Mex lunch. Yummmmm.
Then Clara watched as Reed and Kyle waged war on the chess board.

First gift: To Clara from Aunt Tricia & Uncle Dewayne - a cookie set!
She loves it. The cookies actually velcro onto the cookie sheet so they don't fall off as the kids stick them in their pretend oven. It also came with a tube for the cookies to fit in and a spatula and a glove. This is such a fun idea!

Clara helped everyone throw their trash away. But for a little while she had a hard time leaving Molly's new PeaPod Doll behind while she helped :) I wasn't sure how I was going to pry it away, haha.

Then she received a gift from Aunt Jana, Uncle Keith & the kids. I've actually never seen this set before - it has a basket of breakfast foods, lunch foods and dinner foods. This kiddo is going to be so set for baking cookies AND cooking! She especially loved the hamburger bun and juice box. So fun!

Again, like the PeaPod Doll, Clara was a huge fan of Molly's gifts too. This is a cool giraffe chair Aunt Jana and crew found. I think Molly is going to love it! Clara was just trying to help break it in, I'm sure :)

Then it was time for everyone to open the marshmallow weapons! Clara thought it was hilarious as so many people ripped into wrapping paper at the same time.

Papaw handed out his notorious gift, and even Clara got one! We rescued it before she could eat it, Papaw :)
